Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit

Meet Tyler: a super volunteer at FMSC Richardson who’s making a big impact

- In the Packing Room
At FMSC, we’re blessed to have an amazing community of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to helping us feed children around the world. But every once in a while, someone goes above and beyond — and one of those special people is Tyler, lovingly known around FMSC Richardson as T-Money.
Packing meals with heart and hustle
Tyler’s commitment is nothing short of extraordinary. He volunteers at our Richardson site five days a week, three packing sessions a day — an effort that most can only imagine. Not only is he consistent, but he brings an energy and enthusiasm that inspires everyone around him.
What sets Tyler apart? He keeps a personal count of the soy bins he scoops. Recently, he hit a major milestone: over 500 bins in a single week! That’s the kind of dedication that fuels our mission and changes lives.
Recognized on the field with first pitch at Frisco RoughRiders
Tyler’s hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. In a heartwarming moment of recognition, he was honored at a Frisco RoughRiders game, where he had the incredible opportunity to throw the first pitch. It was a proud moment not only for Tyler but for everyone at FMSC Richardson.
And of course, our Richardson crew showed up in full force to cheer him on. Seeing him on the mound reminded us that every volunteer has the power to make a difference.
Part of the FMSC Richardson family
Tyler isn’t just a volunteer — he’s family. His presence at the FMSC Richardson site lights up every room. Whether he’s cracking jokes, helping new volunteers feel at home, or tracking his latest scooping record, Tyler embodies the heart and soul of what we do.
We are beyond grateful for Tyler’s commitment and service. T-Money, thank you for being you — a true super volunteer and a key part of our mission to feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit.
