Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit
FMSC welcomes a new Executive Director / CEO, J.J. Slag, to succeed Mark Crea, retiring in April. Read more about J.J. and the full executive team here. J.J. shares the following message with the FMSC community.
At Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), our mission has always been simple: feed God’s children hungry in body and spirit. That hasn’t changed, and it never will. But as hunger grows around the world, we know there’s more work to do — and we’re ready to do it.
Here’s what’s ahead:
Staying Christ-centered
FMSC is, and will always be, a Christ-centered organization. Everything we do starts with prayer and is deeply rooted in our belief that God calls us to feed His kids. As we grow, that foundation will remain steady, guiding every step we take.
Feeding more kids
The need is bigger than ever — but so is the impact we can make together. Kids, families and communities around the world rely on FMSC meals every day, and we’re working hard to get meals to even more of them. With your help, we’ll keep delivering food — and hope — where it’s needed most, against all odds.
Growing and adapting
The world keeps changing, and we’re adapting to meet the challenges. From packing more meals to responding faster to emergencies, we’re finding new ways to serve kids and communities.
How you can take action for what’s next
As a supporter of FMSC, you turn hunger into hope every day. Every meal packed, every dollar given, every prayer — it all makes a difference. One of the most impactful ways you can help is by joining Something Greater™, our community of recurring givers.
Because each meal costs just 29 cents, you can make a lifechanging difference at any giving level. These dependable donations are crucial to help us get meals to the hungriest places on earth, where consistent food often feels impossible to come by. Join Something Greater
The future of FMSC is exciting. There’s so much more to do, and with your help, we’ll keep turning hunger into hope for kids around the world. I’m so thankful to do this work alongside you.
